Welcome to the Global Forensic Expert Network, operated by Thistlegorm Forensic. By registering as a member or using the platform, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully.

1. Membership Eligibility

   Membership is open to:

   1. Professional Associates: Practicing forensic experts with verifiable qualifications and experience.
   2. Student Associates: Students or recent graduates in forensic-related disciplines.
   3. Members must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
   4. Thistlegorm Forensic reserves the right to verify the authenticity of your credentials and approve or reject applications at its sole discretion.

2. Membership Fees

   Membership is open to:

   1. Professional Associates: USD25 per year.
   2. Student Associates: USD15 per year.

3. Payment and Billing

   1. Membership fees are charged annually based on your initial registration date and are non-refundable, even if you cancel your membership before the expiration date.
   2. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. To opt out of automatic renewals, members must disable this feature through their account settings or contact Thistlegorm Forensic at least 14 days before the renewal date.
   3. Payments must be made via credit or debit card through the secure payment gateway provided by Thistlegorm Forensic.
   4. Members are responsible for ensuring that their payment details are up to date. Payment information can be updated at any time via the secure payment gateway in the account settings.
   5. If a payment fails, the member will be notified via email. Access to the platform will remain active for 14 days after the failed payment. If payment is not successfully processed within this period, the membership will be suspended until payment is resolved.
   6. For any billing disputes, members must contact Thistlegorm Forensic at support@thistlegormforensic.com within 14 days of the transaction. Thistlegorm Forensic will investigate the issue and respond within 7 business days. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed at Thistlegorm Forensic&ls discretion.

4. Public vs. Private Listings

   1. Members can choose between:
   2. Public Listing: Your profile will be visible on the website.
   3. Private Listing: Your profile will remain private and only accessible to Thistlegorm’s internal team for project collaborations.
   4. Members can update their listing preferences at any time through their account settings.

5. Use of the Platform

   1. Members are responsible for ensuring that their account is used lawfully and ethically.
   2. You may not:
      • Share your login credentials with others.
      • Post or share false, misleading, or defamatory content.
      • Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized activities.
   3. Thistlegorm Forensic reserves the right to monitor activity on the platform and suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these terms.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

   1. Thistlegorm Forensic collects and processes your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
   2. By registering, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data for the purposes outlined in the Privacy Policy, including but not limited to:
      • Verifying credentials.
      • Facilitating connections with potential clients or mentors.
      • Sending membership updates and event notifications.
   3. You may update or delete your personal information at any time by contacting Thistlegorm Forensic.

7. Intellectual Property

   1. All content on the Global Forensic Expert Network platform, including logos, designs, and text, is the property of Thistlegorm Forensic and is protected by copyright laws.
   2. Members may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the platform without written permission from Thistlegorm Forensic.
   3. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform (e.g., profile details, publications), but grant Thistlegorm Forensic a license to use, display, and share it within the platform’s scope.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

   1. Thistlegorm Forensic provides a platform for networking and collaboration but does not guarantee job placements, project opportunities, or professional success.
   2. Thistlegorm Forensic is not liable for:
      • Disputes between members or between members and clients.
      • The accuracy or reliability of information provided by members.
      • Losses resulting from use of the platform.
   3. Members are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with their local laws and professional obligations.
